One-on-One Grooming
One-on-One Dog Grooming in North Providence
One groomer, one pet, start to finish. No crates, no waiting behind other dogs, and nobody rushing your pet through the day.
Small and medium dogs up to 40 lb, and cats.

What One-on-One Grooming Means
Most salons book several dogs at the same time. Your dog is dropped off in the morning, bathed, then put in a crate to wait while the groomer works through everyone else. A two-hour groom can turn into a whole day of barking, noise and waiting.
At A Decked Out Pet, I work on one dog at a time. When your pet is here, the salon is theirs. I use soft music and aromatherapy to keep things calm, and the groom runs from bath to finish without your pet being passed between people or parked in a crate.
With 30 years of grooming experience, CPR certification and specialized training in animal behavior, I would rather take the extra time your pet needs than force a groom. I will never push a pet to the point of fear or harm.
Why It Matters for Your Pet
Less stress
No room full of barking dogs and no hours in a crate. Nervous and senior pets stay calmer.
Shorter visits
The appointment lasts as long as the groom, so your pet gets home sooner.
Safer handling
My full attention stays on your pet the whole time, with room to stop and take breaks.
The same groomer every time
The person you talk to is the person who grooms your pet, and I get to know their coat and quirks.
Who One-on-One Grooming Is Best For
- Anxious or nervous dogs A quiet room and a patient pace make a big difference.
- Seniors and puppies Gentle handling and breaks when they need them.
- Owners who want consistency The same hands, the same care and a cut you agreed on before I start.
Please note: for everyone's safety I do not accept pets that bite, and a card on file is needed to hold your appointment. See the full Pet Care Policy and what to expect on your first visit.
