Maintenance Grooms to Keep Coats Mat-Free

A shorter visit on a regular schedule, usually every four to six weeks, that keeps a coat comfortable without a full haircut every time.

Stopping Mats Before They Start

Coats like shih tzus, doodles and maltese mat quickly, and once a mat is tight against the skin, brushing it out hurts. Too often the only humane choice left is to clip the coat short.

Maintenance grooms keep that from happening. On a regular schedule I brush the coat through, tidy the face, feet and sanitary areas, and catch small tangles before they become a problem.

Your dog keeps the longer look you love, stays comfortable, and every full groom is easier on both of you.

A Typical Maintenance Visit

  • Bath and brush-through

Clean coat, tangles worked out while they are small.

  • Face, feet and sanitary tidy

The areas that grow out fastest.

  • Nails and ears

    Kept up between full grooms.

  • A schedule that fits

Usually every four to six weeks.

Regular Visits Save Coats and Money

  • Fewer shave-downs A coat that is kept up rarely needs clipping short.
  • Shorter appointments Less work each time than a neglected coat.
  • Honest advice I will tell you what gap makes sense for your dog.
