Cat Grooming
Cat Grooming in a Quiet, Dog-Free Room
Most salons that say they groom cats groom them in a room full of dogs. Here the door is shut and yours is the only animal in the building.
Gentle, calm cats up to 15 lb, kept in their natural coat.

A Quiet Room With No Dogs in Earshot
A cat that can hear dogs will not settle, and a cat that will not settle has to be handled more firmly. That is why so many cats come home from a grooming visit more upset than they went in.
Cats are groomed here one at a time in the same private room, with no barking and no dryers running next door. Taking the noise away removes most of the fight before it starts.
I keep cats in their natural coat rather than clipping the body. Most cats are far happier being brushed out, in fact many end up loving it, while clipping is something few enjoy. I limit clipping to the areas that need it most: sanitary trims, feet and bellies.
What Cats Come In For
Brush-outs and de-matting
Most cats settle into it, and many end up loving it.
In-between brushing
For upkeep between visits when brushing at home is hard. Cost depends on how long it takes.
Nail trims
Quick, quiet, and can be booked on their own.
Sanitary, feet and belly trims
The only areas I clip, kept short and tidy without a full shave-down.
